The farm tour
The tour starts at the Maui Pineapple Store in Haliimaile and goes into the fields in an air-conditioned vehicle.
Guides explain how the farm's pineapples are planted, grown and harvested by hand, and the tour includes a short walk through the packing plant.
Each guest gets a pineapple to take home. The farm says its pineapples are approved and packaged for airport transport.
The farm calls itself Hawaii's last working pineapple operation.
Each tour time is one bus. The farm asks parties to buy all their tickets for the same time so they sit together.
Free parking is on site at 870 Haliimaile Rd. and in the overflow lot at the Haliimaile Distillery.
