Fiestas de la Vendimia
Baja California's harvest festival runs for about 25 days in July and August in Ensenada and Valle de Guadalupe. The 2026 edition ran from 5 to 30 August; the 2027 dates are not yet announced.

What it is
The Fiestas de la Vendimia are the harvest festival of Baja California's wine valleys. Provino Baja California owns the name and runs the festival.
The 2026 edition was the 36th. It had more than 30 activities over 25 days: pairing dinners, music nights, winery tours and special tastings at participating wineries, plus a few large events.
The main events in 2026
The Muestra del Vino is the event the festival grew from: 80 wineries pour more than 160 wines, grouped by grape, with food from 55 restaurants and five music stages.
The Concurso de Paellas closes the festival: 80 wineries pour, and more than 90 teams cook paella for the crowd.

Winery events
Wineries run their own harvest events during the festival, each booked with the winery. Provino lists them on its Vendimias calendar.
In 2026 El Cielo held a Chardonnay master class on 4 August and a pairing dinner in the vineyard on 22 August. Monte Xanic sells a seasonal grape-stomping day, and El Cielo sells harvest experiences on its site.

A Valle de Guadalupe winery that sells guided tastings with a winery tour, a weekend wagon ride through the vineyards, and walk-in wine service at Lago MX beside its reservoir.
